The district’s strategic priorities focus on three main areas that guide staff decisions:
- High quality staff – prioritizing recruitment and retention of excellent educators
- Excellent environments – creating optimal learning conditions
- Productive partnerships – actively reaching out to the community and BOCES
Board Leadership:
The Board integrates strategic priorities into their governance through:
- Policy development and maintenance – creating and maintaining policies that align with district priorities
- Budget decisions – making financial decisions that are explicitly “connected to strategic priorities”
- Approval processes – reviewing and approving proposed district policies and expenditures through the lens of strategic alignment
