Student Behavior Policies
The district has several key student behavior policies in place:
- Cell phone policy
- Dress code policy
- Attendance policy
- Athletic handbook
- Student code of conduct
District or School-Wide PBIS
- PBIS efforts are implemented individually by some staff however, there is no current district-wide systematic PBIS program
- Wayfinder K-5 lessons – currently implemented for elementary grades
- Wayfinder 6-8 – planned for implementation in 2025-2026 for middle school grades
- SCCG Counselor position – dedicated counseling support (SCCG refers to School Counselor or Social/Community Counseling position)
ICAP Approach
- The district has a tiered approach to career and academic planning:
- SCOIR system – implemented for grades 9-12 (high school)
- SCOIR for grades 6-8 – planned for implementation in 2025-2026 (middle school)
- Career lessons and assignments – currently provided, but is not currently implemented across all classrooms
